Welcome To The Festival
The Birmingham Black International Film Festival ( BIF Festival) is a Film Festival with a difference, incorporating music, live arts and education while providing platforms for practitioners and artists to exhibit their creative talents. The BIF Festival, is a one week blissful mix of industry parties, showcases, networking events, educational seminars and screenings as well as the star studded “M Visas” Music Video Screen Awards. This Festival is an unique event and is the only event of its kind within a 70 mile radius.

Over the last 5 years the BIF Festival has grown into a well know established event in the city’s social calendar which continues to attract celebrities and individuals from across the UK.

The festival makes use of centrally located venues around the city, for ease of access. Most venues are situated within walking distance of the New street train station or just a short cab ride. Apart from being perfectly located for accessibility, there is a selection of hotel accommodation to suit every one's taste, from 5 star to bed and breakfast. So why not stay at one of our partner hotels and receive up to 25% off accommodation and while you are here take advantage of the city's diverse culture from great restaurants to historical monuments. Birmingham is indeed a beautiful city so come visit us at our festival and enjoy our ci

SPONSORING
The Black International Film Festival is a great event for your organisation to be seen and heard at. BIF Festival is Entertaining, Educational, Glamorous, and Community inclusive. It is an important cultural event in the region’s social calendar; and as it’s the only festival of its kind in the west midlands, we would love to share our spotlight with you.

Over the last four years the BIF Festival has seen a significant rise in audiences and interest from the entertainment industry. Sponsoring the festival affords your brand contact with a niche audience who are educated, affluent, and tend to favour companies that market directly to them. As the Film Festival’s main sponsor your logo and branding will be dominant on all printed matter, advertising media including radio coverage, on our website and strategically placed at all our events. Your company will be able to present an award at our prestigious awards show [M-VISAs].

Naming rights for the festival can be negotiated for those Film Festival sponsors interested in making a commitment of at least two years.
